You may notice that a piece of chalk will be with any sterling silver pieces, this is to keep the sterling silver from tarnishing. I reccomend that you keep the chalk packaged with the jewelry.
I strongly suggest removing your jewelry when handling chemicals, cosmetics, chlorinated water, and anything that isn’t safe for your skin. Take off jewelry when pieces are at risk for rough handling or striking hard surfaces. Particular care is encouraged for softer gemstones like pearls, opals, emeralds, and other semi-precious stones. When in doubt, take it off…just in case!
